3 months old

Karissa & Kody are 3 months old today. Terence & I each used a infant carrrier to carry a baby the very first time today. We thought we could only go for a walk at nearby park. Surprisingly, Karissa & Kody both were very cooperative to the point that we were able to have lunch @ a nearby chinese shopping mall. The best was we had Japanese food as lunch. Mmmm...salmon sashimi that is what I have been longing for.

We had a good time. Our 2 little bosses also had a good time when they played the new toy (Mega saucer). That was a good deal($16, brand new cost is $60) we got yesterday @ sale which was held by Tri-Valley Mothers of Twins Club. It organizes a big sale twice a year. I'm thinking of joining the club ($33 for 1 year membership).

Day before Mid Autumn Festival

Tomorrow will be Mid Autumn Festival. We don't know if we'll get a chance/time to see a full moon or not. At least, we know that Karissa's face is very round & chubby.

'戒毒' & 4 hr break

Karissa & Kody both have some bad habits that need to be fixed. Karissa would ask for meal anytime she wants..no set time/schedule. Kody would not go to sleep during day without getting hug to the point that he fall asleep. These habits are not good especially when nanny is alone with babies after I start going back to work in the future. Therefore, today is the day that we start both of them on a set feeding schedule...feed them every 4 hour, and leave them crying in a room alone to the point that: 1. Karissa can wait for next meal till it's time 2. Kody can fall asleep on his own. It was tough. They both cried for more than an hour on & off. I predict that we can get them back on a right track on 3-4 days later. What we are doing is like helping a drug addict.

1st day at church

We finally were able to go to church the very 1st time after birth. Last Sunday, they were so naughty that we had been busy till 1:45pm, so we could not make it even we planned to. Finally, babies are cooperative today. They were able to finish feeding this morning, or not create any trouble e.g. spit up that requires a bath. Karissa & Kody finally can meet their new friends...Jordan (born in May) & Isaac (born in July).

Sept 11

Uncle Vincent

Tonight, Vincent is a free man, cuz Eliza is on a trip outside USA. From what I see, Vincent is very caring & patient towards babies. He is much more like a dad of babies than Terence. Hey Vincent...you are ready to be a dad anytime soon.

Tummy time

Karissa likes to sleep a lot. Kody has tendency to spit up. Therefore, I seldom get a chance to let them to have tummy time to train their neck muscle. I guess they are not used to it. Both doesn't seem to be laid with their faces down.

Sleeping posture

I don't know if it is baby's instinct or what. Karissa & Kody both like to have their arms sticking out & put them besides their heads. It's rare to see them to have their arms down like what Kody did in the picutre.

Labor Day (9/3)

1st day @ park

It's nicer to go outside to breathe fresh air than get grounded at home. But it's too bad that Karissa & Kody both slept through the whole walk.

Labor Day weekend

Today is a busy day. We had totally 3 group of visitors (Uncle#7 & #8, Anna & Roger, and Terence's coworkers). It sure made our house full of sound & joy.
